Biscayne Landing Elementary School
Biscayne Landing has its own newly built elementary school. The David Lawrence, Jr. Elementary School was named after a former Miami Herald publisher who was a national leader in the movement to strengthen the nation's commitment to early childhood development and readiness.
Opened in 2007 for kindergarten through eighth grade, the school is situated on 10 acres and includes features such as basketball courts, a weight room, a photo lab, and a state-of-the-art computer room.
